AyOwA is a Danish electronic pop duo consisting of Nicolai Kornerup and Hannah Schneider, two long-term friends and musical partners.
They construct atmospheric pop tunes in minor on old reel-to-reel tape recorders and modular synthesizers. Hannah Schneider takes the front-centre of the stage with some dusky and airy vocals, all sung in Danish. It gives the songs a nostalgic touch.
